Episode Overview
Jade O'Keeffe, the best high priced call girl in LA, decides to give up the trade. She breaks the news to her best client, Hal. On a midnight swim, Hal tries to drown Jade but is thwarted by passing neighbor Eric. Later Jade decides to take one last client. Chet, the new client arrives with a woman which wasn't part of the deal. Chet and his friend were sent to kill Jade, after Chet slaps her, Jade returns from the bathroom with a gun; she shoots Chet in the hand and forces the couple out of the house. Looking for safety, and not able to sell the house; Jade takes in roommates; the eccentric Joy and her sister Lindsay; and attorney Perry Quinn.Perry is recovering from the death of her fiancee, and ends up reacquainting herself with Roger, an old high school friend. He is accused of rape and Perry offers to help him with the case. Lindsay meets Eric Adler, who is a young writer/director whose parents are also in show business.
