Episode Overview
Focused on preparing for his trip and beginning a life dedicated to religion, Salvador meets Carolina, a young and cheerful seamstress who, upon seeing him, shows obvious love. After a brief conversation, the two share a long-held affection. Later, at dinner, to say goodbye to his friends and begin a spiritual retreat, Salvador meets Carolina again. This time, they both surrender to their passion, never imagining that María Luisa would almost find them together. Excited about the new life she's experiencing, Carolina visits Salvador's house hoping to tell him they're expecting a child. However, María Luisa refuses to tell him where she is and explodes with rage upon learning that the young woman is pregnant with his child. Upon arriving in the city, Carolina finds it extremely difficult to give her daughter what she so desperately needs. In the midst of a stormy night, desperation forces her to leave her little girl in a house far from her care.
