Episode Overview
Geppi Cucciari returns to prime time with a new edition of Splendida Cornice. Over two hours of cultural entertainment, escape, disclosure, satire, where high and low, humor and knowledge come together to surprise and excite the audience at home and in the studio. The first episode of the new season is dedicated to the seventy years of Rai, with many guests including Fabio Caressa, Sergio Castellitto, Carlo Cracco, Emanuela Fanelli, Valerio Lundini, Benedetta Parodi, Pino Strabioli and Jasmine Trinca, with musical interludes by Elio and Le Storie Tese, Elisabetta Viviani and Maestro Remo Anzovino, the pianist Matthew Lee, as well as the Rai National Symphony Orchestra led by maestro Pietro Mainiti. And also the writer and director Vito Molinari, the designer Takahide Sano, the journalist Tommaso Cherici and a performance by the Kataklò acrobatic dance company.
