Episode Overview

Xia Xiaoju and her younger brother Jiashi transfer to new schools after her parents shift from their hometown. She has to make through difficult circumstances, including wearing her old school uniform and worn out shoes as she was in her final year and getting along with Jiashi. While celebrating their arrival at the new neighbourhood, Xiaoju accidentally ends up exploding firecrackers on the butt of Lu Shiyi, who also turns out to be her playful and wayward classmate. The grudge deepens when she once again trips and spills hot water on his back. Irritated, he decides to play around and bullies her. Furthermore, Xiaoju is upset by her declining grades, the opposite of her brother's, and finds it difficult to adapt to her new environment. She befriends Qiu Yutao and Cheng Lang, her neighbour and a top student of the school.
